1- get in = chegar, entrar
Ex. We got in late last night. Nós chegamos tarde ontem à noite.

2- get on (with) = get along (with) = se dar bem (ter bom relacionamento) (com);
Ex. He got on with the boss. Ele se deu bem com o chefe.
- get on = subir, embarcar, normalmente usado com: bus, train, plane.
Ex. I got on the bus and went home. Entrei no ônibus e fui pra casa.
3- get into = envolver-se; interessar-se; get into trouble = se meteu em encrenca
Ex. He got into trouble by stealing cars. Ele se meteu em problemas por roubar carros.
She's really getting into the Internet. Ela está bem interessada na internet.
4- get off = largar, parar, tirar de cima
Ex. Get off the grass right now! Sai da grama agora mesmo! Get off me! Me larga!

5- get out = sair fora, se mandar, escapar
Ex. Get out of my house! Sai da minha casa!
6- Get away (fugir) A police officer grabbed him, but he got away.
7-Get up: (levantar da cama; acordar) He never gets up before nine.
